Kinetic Theory, First Law of Thermodynamics

Kinetic theory is a description of the macroscopic variables in terms of molecular theory. In particular, we see that the temperature of a gas is related to the average kinetic energy of the molecules.

We then began to look at the laws of thermodynamics. The First Law is a statement of energy conservation. We also looked at various thermal processes.
